What Progress Agentic RAG does

Progress Agentic RAG is a retrieval-augmented generation platform built on Nuclia, which Progress acquired. You load documents into a knowledge box. The platform indexes them, finds the passages that answer a question and writes an answer that cites them. Agentic retrieval plans what to look for, checks whether the passages answer the question, and looks again when they do not.

Classic RAG ends when the pipeline ends. Agentic RAG ends when the agent judges the work complete, and every extra step must be logged, evaluated and explainable.

Reranking

A second pass reorders the retrieved passages by relevance before the answer is written.

Retrieval strategies

Neighbouring paragraphs, whole documents and the knowledge graph can all be drawn into the context for a question.

Knowledge graph

Agents extract the people, places and topics in your documents and the links between them.

Answer evaluation

Each answer and each source gets a score, so a weak answer can be shown as weak.

Labelling agents

Agents label, classify and summarise documents as they load, so the collection stays organised as it grows.

Structured generation

Briefings, comparisons and timelines generated to a set structure, each with references back to the sources.

Licensing

We supply Progress Agentic RAG licences through BlueChip IT, so you buy locally. We can also work with a licence your organisation already holds.

Your documents, loaded well

We inventory your documents and their access rules, then load and structure them. This is where most of the work in a real deployment sits.

Measured answer quality

We tune reranking, retrieval strategies and labels against a scored set of real questions, and track that score over time.

A front end people use

CorpusKit, our open source research portal, or search and cited answers built into your website or CMS.

Data location

Knowledge boxes can be created in an Australian region. Before the build we document where documents are stored and where retrieval and generation run.

We are building the Knowledge Sharing Platform for the Victorian Collaborative Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing on Progress Agentic RAG. We also build and maintain CorpusKit, an open source research portal that uses the platform features above.
