Magnolia Platinum Partner

Magnolia CMS in Australia

We are a Magnolia Platinum Partner with a Melbourne team. We implement Magnolia DX Core and Magnolia Cloud, migrate legacy CMS estates onto Magnolia, and run the platform for clients like Telstra Health and MM Plastics.

A Magnolia practice, not a side bet

Magnolia is the platform we go deepest on. Platinum Partner status, beta access to new releases, and engineers who have shipped Magnolia DX Core into regulated Australian environments.

Platinum Partner

The highest Magnolia partner tier in APAC. Direct line to Magnolia engineering in Basel and the Sydney office for joint roadmap and architecture reviews.

Magnolia Cloud certified

We deliver onto Magnolia Cloud PaaS as well as AWS Sydney (ap-southeast-2) and customer-managed Kubernetes. Hosting choice driven by your data residency, not ours.

Migration depth

AEM, Sitecore, Drupal and WordPress VIP migrations onto Magnolia, powered by our AI-assisted Migration Accelerator product.

What we deliver on Magnolia

Full lifecycle: discovery, build, migrate, hosting, upgrades and ongoing support. We pick up greenfield Magnolia projects and rescue half-built ones with the same team.

DX Core implementation

Magnolia DX Core builds with personalisation, multi-site, multi-language, and a visual page editor your authors actually use. Default delivery is hybrid (server-rendered plus REST and GraphQL APIs).

Magnolia Cloud hosting

Production rollouts on Magnolia Cloud with SLA-backed uptime, automated patching and managed scaling. We design the deployment topology and own the go-live.

Migration to Magnolia

Move off AEM, Sitecore, Drupal or a homegrown CMS using Migration Accelerator. AI handles content shape detection, humans approve mapping and tone.

Magnolia 6.4 upgrades

In-place upgrades from Magnolia 6.0, 6.2 and 6.3 to 6.4, including bundle review, custom module compatibility and Java version alignment.

Integrations

Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, SAP Commerce, MuleSoft, Algolia, AEM cross-cluster sync, custom REST and GraphQL endpoints, SSO and SAML.

Managed support

Dedicated Magnolia support pods with response-time SLAs in AEDT and AEST. The engineers who built your platform are the ones who answer the page.

How we deliver Magnolia

A predictable five-stage approach, sized to your scope. Most engagements run twelve to twenty weeks from discovery to first live release.

1

Discovery and architecture

Two to four weeks. Content audit, integration map, hosting decision (Magnolia Cloud vs AWS Sydney vs customer-managed), and a sized roadmap. You get an architecture pack your security and procurement teams can act on.

2

Information architecture and templates

Define content types, template library and authoring patterns in Magnolia. We build the editor experience first so content teams can start preparing copy in parallel with engineering.

3

Build and integrate

Iterative sprints. Frontend, backend, integrations and DevOps tracks run in parallel. Demos every fortnight with full stakeholder access to a working environment.

4

Migration and authoring

Migration Accelerator captures the existing site, proposes mappings, and writes pages into Magnolia. Editorial teams review and approve. No big-bang weekend migrations.

5

Launch and support

Cutover with DNS warm-up and rollback plan. The build team stays on the platform under a managed-services agreement, so Day 31 looks the same as Day 1.

Magnolia CMS in Australia: FAQ

The questions we get most often from Australian and New Zealand teams considering Magnolia.

Yes. Noice is a Magnolia Platinum Partner, the highest partner tier. We work directly with Magnolia engineering in Basel and Sydney on roadmap previews, beta releases and joint architecture reviews. The partnership covers Magnolia DX Core, Magnolia Cloud and Magnolia AI Accelerator.

Our Magnolia practice is led out of Melbourne with engineers in Sydney and Wellington. All implementation and ongoing support runs in AEDT and AEST business hours, with on-call cover for production incidents. We work with Australian, New Zealand and APAC clients and have not offshored the practice.

We charge against our 2026 rate card (AUD 165 to AUD 275 per hour or AUD 1,320 to AUD 2,200 per day, ex GST), and most first Magnolia DX Core or Magnolia Cloud builds for Australian mid-market or enterprise clients land between AUD 180k and AUD 600k excluding GST. The range depends on template count, integrations, authoring patterns and migration scope. Magnolia licence fees are negotiated separately with Magnolia and are usually annual subscription based. We share an itemised range at the end of a one-hour scoping call.

Yes. We deliver onto Magnolia Cloud (PaaS), Magnolia on AWS in ap-southeast-2 (Sydney), and customer-managed Kubernetes. Magnolia Cloud is the default recommendation for new builds because the platform team handles patching, autoscaling and SLA-backed uptime. We retain customer choice on data residency and review the trade-off case by case for regulated workloads.

For a single-author, single-environment Magnolia instance the upgrade window is two to four weeks of engineering. Multi-region, multi-instance estates (Author plus public clusters plus DR) typically run six to ten weeks including regression testing and content freeze windows. Most of the work is bundle compatibility, custom module review and Java version alignment, not the core upgrade itself.

Yes. We use noice Migration Accelerator, our AI-assisted content migration tool, to move structured and unstructured content from Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, Drupal, WordPress VIP, Contentful and bespoke legacy systems into Magnolia. The accelerator handles snapshot capture, template mapping and bulk publish, while content authors keep final approval on every page.

Both. Magnolia supports a hybrid model where you can choose per page whether to render server-side from Magnolia or expose content through the Magnolia REST and GraphQL APIs to a downstream frontend such as Next.js, Nuxt or a native mobile app. We default to hybrid because it gives marketing teams visual editing without locking engineering out of headless when they need it.

Recent and current Magnolia engagements include Telstra Health (managed services and platform support), Victorian Council of Community Mental Health and Wellbeing (VCCMHW, full DX Core build), and MM Plastics and Dotmar (multi-brand, multi-region DXP). We can share named references and architecture summaries under NDA.

Yes. We run dedicated Magnolia support pods with response-time SLAs aligned to your business hours, including 24x7 P1 cover for clients on the enterprise tier. The same engineers who build your platform stay on it, so context does not get handed to a separate support team after go-live.

Magnolia Cloud offers an Australian region. For clients with stricter requirements (APRA CPS 234, IRAP, Defence) we deploy Magnolia on a customer-owned AWS account in ap-southeast-2 with logs, backups and replica instances kept in Australia. We document the residency boundary as part of the architecture pack so security teams can sign off without a separate review.
