1. Overview
Noice Pty Ltd (ABN 91 634 536 360) ("Noice," "we," "us," or "our") is an Australian digital agency. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information through our marketing website at noice.net.au (the "Site").
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). For visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we also apply the relevant requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR.
We do not sell your personal information.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
You only give us personal information if you choose to contact us or request a resource:
- Contact form: your name, work email, company, an optional phone number, the subject, and your message. We also record the page you submitted the form from, to give your enquiry context.
- Resource downloads: if you request a free resource (such as a checklist), we collect the email address you enter so we can send you the link.
We use Cloudflare Turnstile and a hidden "honeypot" field to tell real submissions from bots. Turnstile processes limited device and network signals for that check and does not identify you personally.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Site, some information is collected automatically:
- Server and security logs: our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) processes your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, and referring URLs to serve the Site and protect it from abuse.
- Analytics and advertising data: subject to your consent choices (see section 4), we and our partners use cookies and similar identifiers to measure how the Site is used and to support advertising. This can include a randomly generated analytics identifier, pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP, and referral source.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to your enquiry and send any resource you asked for
- Operate, secure, and maintain the Site
- Understand how the Site is used so we can improve it (analytics)
- Measure and run advertising campaigns, including retargeting, where permitted
- Meet our legal and record-keeping obligations
For visitors in the EEA and UK, our legal bases are: performing steps at your request and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries; your consent for non-essential analytics and advertising cookies; and our legitimate interest in keeping the Site secure.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Site, and where the law requires it:
- Cloudflare: website hosting, content delivery, and security
- Resend: delivery of the email generated when you submit the contact form
- Microsoft 365: the mailbox that receives and stores your enquiry
- Google, HubSpot, LinkedIn, and Meta: analytics and advertising, as described in section 4
We may also disclose information if required to comply with the law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Noice, our visitors, or others. If Noice is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred to the acquiring entity under the same protections set out here.
Each third party handles your information under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.
6. International Data Transfers
Noice is based in Australia. Several of the providers listed above (including Google, Meta, HubSpot, Resend, and Cloudflare) process data on servers in the United States and other countries, so your information may be transferred and processed outside your country of residence.
For transfers from the EEA and UK we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. For transfers from Australia we take reasonable steps consistent with Australian Privacy Principle 8.
7. Data Retention
- Enquiries: contact-form and resource-request emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards as a business record, then deleted.
- Analytics data: retained according to each provider's settings (for example, Google Analytics user-level data is retained for up to 14 months).
- Advertising data: retained by the relevant ad platform under its own policies.
- Server and security logs: retained for a short period for security and troubleshooting.
You can ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you at any time (see section 8).
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information
- Ask us to delete your information
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent for analytics and advertising cookies
To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity first.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au). Visitors in the EEA or UK may also complain to their local data protection authority.
9. Data Security
The Site is served over HTTPS, and we rely on reputable providers with their own security programs to host the Site and deliver our email. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the limited personal information we handle. If a data breach occurs that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.
10. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for a business and professional audience and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
